Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: San Francisco, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Position involves CT and X-ray imaging
  • Variable shifts, mostly nights; evenings and days may also be required
  • Work with GE imaging equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in California
  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience as an X-Ray Technician
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, preferably from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required (per contract standards)
  • Compliance with facility-specific Radiology certifications and pledges (e.g., imaging professional pledges)
  • Completion of required competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable

Experience

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard experience for CT Tech roles (typically 1+ years)

Shift Details

    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella proof of immunity or vaccination (for candidates born in 1957 or later)
    • Hepatitis B titer or vaccine series
    • Varicella immunity or vaccination
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or documented exemption (required during flu season)
    • COVID vaccination series or documented exemption
  • Drug screening (9 or 10 panel) within 6-12 months of start date
  • Emergency contact form prior to start
  • Facility-specific forms and acknowledgments including new employee handbook, contractor checklist, and safety manual acknowledgments
  • Photo for badge (headshot with neutral background) required one week prior to start

References & Evaluations

  • Two professional references required, verified within the past year (supervisors or charge nurses accepted)
  • Annual skills checklist and internal evaluations if employed longer than one year

Additional Notes

  • Must complete facility-specific pledges related to radiology safety and imaging professional standards
  • Compliance with all facility-specific training and attestation forms required prior to start
