Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in the Pre-Screen Unit; clinical fit will be determined through screening.
- Manager interview required for final decision.
- May float to all ICU floors.
- Could care for COVID-19 patients.
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
- Weekend schedule: Every other weekend.
- Holidays: Expected to work 1 of 2 major upcoming holidays (e.g., Memorial Day or July 4th).
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Epic
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID.
- Background checks including 7-year criminal background, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG.
- PA FBI Fingerprinting within 1 year of start; results must be on file within 45 days of assignment start.
- Education verification (highest level).
- Professional references (2 within last 3 years).
- Employment application or most recent resume.
- Skills checklist (annual).
- Performance evaluations (completed onsite during assignment).
- Various facility-specific documents including photo for badge, confidentiality agreement, code of conduct, and health & wellness commitments.
- Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT.
- Immunizations and health requirements:
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days (PPD not accepted)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption (declinations NOT accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccine or valid exemption/declination
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (required by agency, not facility).
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually.
- Completion of required competency exams including medication/pharmacology and dysrhythmia/EKG competency.
- Completion of facility-required online learning modules and new hire orientation.

- Candidate may be required to work in a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
- Must be prepared to work holidays as scheduled.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Floating to other ICU floors may be necessary.
- Facility requires strict adherence to background checks and fingerprinting timelines; failure to comply may result in removal from assignment.

Sometimes the schedule can be confusing with rotating shifts and call schedules that don’t align well with your scheduled shifts. But again if there is a major concern they’ll try and work with you on it!
