Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech

Location: West Hollywood, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Monday – Friday with Saturday rotation
• Hours: Approximately 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary depending on department needs)
• Daily Caseload: Approximately 150 patients
• Floating: Yes, will float to different departments within the main campus as needed
• On Call: Not required

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
• Minimum 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check within 6 months of start date (including criminal, education verification, and other standard checks)
• Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
• Fit mask test within 1 year (updated annually)
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year
• Required immunizations/vaccinations including:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination (mandatory during flu season)
• Drug screening within 1 year (specific drug panel required)
• Professional references: 2 required, at least 1 supervisory

Additional Requirements

• Completion of competency exams and certifications as required by the profession
• Photo for badge (must meet strict photo requirements)
• Acknowledgement and signing of facility-specific policies including code of conduct, job hazard analysis, social media policy, and attendance policy
• Completion of any required facility-specific training modules prior to start

Notes

• Floating to other departments within the main campus is expected as needed
• No on-call duties required
• First-time travel healthcare workers are eligible to apply

This position offers a structured weekday schedule with some weekend rotation and requires a licensed Mammography Tech with at least 2 years of experience. Compliance with all health, safety, and credentialing requirements is mandatory.
