Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Voorhees, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Weekdays: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekends: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (every other weekend)
• 5 days per week
• Compensatory days off during the week when weekend shifts are worked
• Float required within a group of hospitals based on need
• No call required
• Flexibility to work at multiple campuses within the system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Echo-Vascular Technician experience within the last year
• RDCS certification required
• Valid state license as an Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (e.g., PALS, NRP)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG screenings
• Proof of I9 or attestation, government-issued photo ID, and E-Verify documentation
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Drug screening (10 panel, THC included or excluded as specified) within 6 months of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Visual acuity exam (20/40 or better)
• Completion of facility-specific documents including badge photo and safety manual acknowledgment
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
• Pass/fail dysrhythmia testing may be required depending on unit
• 2 professional references within the last 2 years
• Employment application and skills checklist updated annually
• Work history verification for at least 1 year prior to start date (New Jersey candidates)
