Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Prior travel nursing experience
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) — verify based on specific unit job description
Must pass:
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (minimum 80%, two attempts allowed)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam if applicable (two attempts allowed)
Competency exams must be completed within 30 days of start

Physical exam within 12 months of start
Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 12 months; annual TB questionnaire required if previously positive
Required immunizations or proof of immunity (or appropriate exemptions) for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (vaccine series and positive titer or signed declination form)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no rapid screens)
Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation; updated annually

Valid government-issued photo ID (passport acceptable in lieu of driver’s license)
I9 or attestation required
E-Verify or attestation required
Background checks within 30 days of start including:
- 7-year county criminal background check for all locations lived/worked
- Sex offender search
- State police investigation for behavioral health roles (if applicable)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
Two professional references within the last 3 years required
Passport-style photo for badge

Candidates must sign the job description and various facility-specific forms prior to start
