Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: Day (2 shifts of 12 hours each, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours: 24 hours per week (Saturdays and Sundays only, part-time)
Job Description
- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care as part of the surgical services team.
- Function as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
- Work in a variety of surgical specialties including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Robotics, Vascular, Thoracic, and more.
- Participate in a clinical environment known for advanced technology, minimally invasive techniques, evidence-based care, and surgical education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience in trauma care.
- Experience in the following surgical specialties:
- ENT Surgery
- Colo-Rectal Surgery
- Plastic Surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Surgical Oncology
- Urology
- Ophthalmology
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Vascular Surgery
