Job Opportunity: House Supervisor (Registered Nurse)

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (7 PM - 7 AM), 3 shifts per week (3x12 hours)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Serve as House Supervisor overseeing nursing operations during night shifts.
• Requires leadership and clinical nursing expertise.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a House Supervisor, including experience within the last year.
• Experience in supervisory roles.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Preferred/Additional Certifications (Not mandatory for this role but may be relevant)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred for certain nursing units.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required for pediatric and ER nurses.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required for ER and MSTICU nurses.
• NIH Stroke Certification required for certain units.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification required for psychiatric nurses.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification required for Labor & Delivery nurses.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Employment application with 7 years of work history, including explanations for any gaps over 30 days.
• Education verification of highest degree.
• Background checks and state-specific searches must be completed within 30 days of start.
• Confidentiality statement must be signed prior to start.
• Flu vaccine declination form required if applicable.
• Annual renewal of physical exam, fit mask certification, TB questionnaire, and drug testing.
• Must complete facility-specific job description acknowledgment.

Additional Notes

• Weekend rotation every third weekend.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
