Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 18 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Trauma Level: Level III Trauma

Job Description
- Perform histology laboratory tasks with strong embedding and microtomy skills in a high-paced lab environment.
- Experience required in tissue processing, embedding (GI specimens, large specimens, molds, skin techniques), and microtomy (automated/manual microtome, cryostat, fatty and hard tissue).
- Skilled in histology staining techniques, including Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) stain and slide preparation.
- Epic electronic health record experience preferred.
- No weekend shifts required.
- No on-call or floating duties.
- Block scheduling accommodations available.
- Local candidates within 100-mile radius are not accepted.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Histology Technologist.
- Histology Technologist experience within the last year.
- National certification: ASCP-HT (American Society for Clinical Pathology - Histotechnologist).
