Work Schedule

• Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (start between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM)
• Every third weekend rotation
• No on-call required

Job Description

• Perform general diagnostic X-ray exams in a fast-paced Emergency Department and inpatient units
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Surgery experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekend work required
• Current Michigan state license required (must be verified within 30 days of start)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association or RQI accepted
  • AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience
• Must be able to work full 5x8 hour day shifts with weekend rotation
• Locals accepted within the local radius

• 632 staffed beds
• Charting system: Epic

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License/State ID (must be current and renewed if expiring during assignment)
• Social Security Card
• E-Verify documentation
• Background check within 30 days of assignment start, including:

  • 7-year Social Security Number Trace
  • National Criminal History Search (7 years)
  • National Sex Offender Database Search
  • FACIS Level 3 Search
  • Education verification
• High school diploma, GED, or official transcripts required (except for RNs)
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start (medical marijuana cards or dilute screens not accepted)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start (must note latex sensitivity)
• N95 Fit Mask test within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination
  • Negative 2-step TB test or chest X-ray if positive
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella immunity (2 MMR vaccines or titers)
  • Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination or declination
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Facility-specific modules and documents must be completed prior to or at orientation
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgment required
