Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Night Shift) - Travel/Contract

Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Patient Ratio: 1:6-7
Floating: Required every other week (EOW)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome
Navy blue scrubs required
Orientation packet, medical surveillance checklist, bloodborne pathogen quiz, and other facility-specific documents must be completed prior to start
Candidate photo (passport style, no filters) required for badge
Comprehensive crisis management certification required for certain units (Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Acute Care) with online training accepted
Candidate must complete facility vaccine declination forms if declining any required vaccines

Work Hours

36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
