Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Night Shift) - Travel/Contract
Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Patient Ratio: 1:6-7
Floating: Required every other week (EOW)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Orientation packet, medical surveillance checklist, bloodborne pathogen quiz, and other facility-specific documents must be completed prior to start
- Candidate photo (passport style, no filters) required for badge
- Comprehensive crisis management certification required for certain units (Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Acute Care) with online training accepted
- Candidate must complete facility vaccine declination forms if declining any required vaccines
Work Hours
- 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
