Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Total Hours per Week: 40

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, with experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• California Venipuncture Certification

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of W4 on file
• 7-year criminal background check including SSN trace, county, state, federal, national criminal, and national sex offender searches (no international background check required)
• HHS/OIG clearance required
• Primary source verification of California state license within 30 days of start (visual verification with signature, initials, date, and title required)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Proof of N95 fit test within 1 year prior to start (specific approved mask models required; no onsite testing available)
• Tdap vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
• Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) or chest x-ray within 12 months of start; annual updates required
• Required immunizations or titers with boosters if negative or equivocal for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
• Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
• 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start (including amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, opiates, PCP, benzodiazepines, methadone, propoxyphene, heroin)
• Flu vaccination or agency flu declination required year-round; masks required for unimmunized personnel during flu season
• COVID-19 vaccination required or approved medical/religious exemption on file

Certifications & Training

• National Tech Certification required (ARRT preferred for Nuclear Medicine Tech)
• Completion of facility-specific learning modules (approx. 8 hours) prior to start, with transcript submission required
• Pyxis Acknowledgment signed prior to start (for RNs and Respiratory Care Practitioners; not applicable for this role)
• Standards of Conduct and Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement signed prior to start, updated annually by end of February
• Vaccine Attestation Form completed regardless of vaccination status

Experience & Skills

• Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume standard Nuclear Medicine Tech experience required
• Experience with EPIC or Cerner electronic health records preferred; 6 months or more required for RNs (not explicitly required for this role)
