Physical Therapist - Home Health
Location: Paducah, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM
- One weekend per month on-call
- Coverage area includes Massac, Johnson, and Pope counties
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Kentucky
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Home care experience
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
- Knowledge of therapy best practices and sound clinical judgment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Driver’s license/state ID
- Background check and fingerprinting completed within 30 days of hire (Kentucky-specific requirements apply)
- Physical exam using facility form (required for Kentucky assignments)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year prior to start (or negative chest x-ray within 5 years if previously positive)
- Hepatitis B form completion; proof of vaccination if accepted
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season (November–April) if applicable
- Drug screening as required by client standards
- Photo for badge
- Auto insurance documentation

- Must be able to make appropriate physical therapy decisions and handle situations effectively
- Disciplined work ethic with attention to detail and timeliness
This position offers a full-time day shift with a 40-hour workweek.
