Physical Therapist - Home Health

Location: Paducah, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM
• One weekend per month on-call
• Coverage area includes Massac, Johnson, and Pope counties

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Kentucky
• Experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Home care experience
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
• Knowledge of therapy best practices and sound clinical judgment
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Driver’s license/state ID
• Background check and fingerprinting completed within 30 days of hire (Kentucky-specific requirements apply)
• Physical exam using facility form (required for Kentucky assignments)
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year prior to start (or negative chest x-ray within 5 years if previously positive)
• Hepatitis B form completion; proof of vaccination if accepted
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season (November–April) if applicable
• Drug screening as required by client standards
• Photo for badge
• Auto insurance documentation

• Must be able to make appropriate physical therapy decisions and handle situations effectively
• Disciplined work ethic with attention to detail and timeliness

This position offers a full-time day shift with a 40-hour workweek.
