Position Details

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Schedule & Work Expectations

Weekend shifts every other weekend
Flexible scheduling required; no schedule requests or block scheduling allowed
No on-call duties
Floating within the facility as needed, within scope of practice
Must work major holidays if they fall during the assignment (expectation to work 1-2 holidays depending on number during contract)
Orientation hours are non-billable and proportional to contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
Maximum Return to Orientation (RTO) time allowed: 7 days
Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
