Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Floating between units is required
- Every other weekend is required
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling is not required
- 48 hours are not approved
Clinical Focus
- Neurology/telemetry nursing
- Expected patient ratio: 1:4
- Must be comfortable using the NIH Stroke Scale
- Must be proficient in caring for post-surgical neurology patients and other neurology diagnoses
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- Neurology experience
Required Credentials and Compliance
- BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Certification
- NURSYS verification
- Washington State Patrol background search
- Education verification
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
- E-Verify attestation
- Background check within 90 days of start
- Drug screen within 12 months of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance
- Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, and COVID documentation or declination as specified
- Respiratory safety clearance
- Annual regulatory modules
- Float policy acknowledgement
