PICU Travel Nurse Job

• 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Specialty Focus

• Pediatric intensive care

Key Responsibilities

• Float as needed to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units
• Follow facility float expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio State or Compact RN license
• 2 supervisory references, including 1 supervisor or manager reference at submittal
• Recent level 1 experience
• Willingness to consider first-time travelers with closer to 3 years of PICU experience

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of experience

Compliance / Onboarding Notes

• Current government-issued photo ID required within 24–48 hours of signing
• Background check and multiple state/federal registry checks required within 30 days of start
• Fingerprinting required within 60 days of start
• Education verification required
• Employment application and resume/application copy required
• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• Infection control policy must be reviewed and signed before start
• Physical exam required
• Negative TB documentation required
• Drug screen required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
• Tdap documentation required
• MMR, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation required
• N95 fit testing required within 1 year of start
