Job Overview

Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Hours: 40 per week
Setting: Short-term acute care, teaching, Level trauma
Facility size: 1,259 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

Sterile Processing Technician (2 years of experience)
Sterile Processing Technician experience within the last year
CBSPD or CRCST
Trauma I experience

Preferred Qualifications

CensiTrac familiarity
Belimed washer/sterilizer familiarity

Work Expectations

Weekend coverage required on Sunday
Floating within scope as needed
No on-call
No block scheduling
No local candidates within 75 miles

Additional Notes

First-time travelers will be reviewed if they have Trauma I experience and at least 2 years of experience
Scrubs are provided
Monthly parking passes are available
EPIC is used for charting
Censis is used for instrument tracking
RTO limit: no more than 7 days
Earbuds and cellphones are not allowed while on shift
