ICU RN Travel Contract

Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

• ETT/NT suctioning
• Infection prevention and isolation precautions

Unit Details

• ICU patient diagnoses include respiratory failure/ARDS, chest pain/cardiac arrhythmias, stroke, cardiac arrest, DKA, multi-organ failure, and sepsis
• Unit care includes pre- and post-op cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal surgeries; medicine and neuro-medicine overflow; pre- and post-transplant; end-of-life/organ donation
• Special equipment includes IV pumps/titration, CRRT/dialysis, ventilator/BiPAP, hemodynamic/invasive monitoring, and defibrillator/crash cart
