Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (1.5 years of experience)
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• CST

• Tdap within 10 years of start
• Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or booster documentation
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Access and confidentiality agreement
• New hire packet

• Fit test documentation

Required Certifications and Licensure

• BLS
• National certification for surgical techs

Additional Notes

• Contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses is part of the role
• Onsite fit testing is not available; valid fit test documentation is required before clearance
