Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN

Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours per week: 36
Weekend/holiday expectation: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Floating: Will float within scope to pediatric units in the facility’s pediatric hospital, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU
Patient ratios: 1:2 to 1:3
Local candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Critical Care Float experience with 2 years of experience
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Experience

ECMO
CRRT

Additional Notes

Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and is subject to unit needs
Travelers may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
