Overview

• Travel/contract assignment in Edgewood, Kentucky
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30, 3x12
• Potential for block scheduling, but not guaranteed
• Start dates: 10/5 or 10/12 only
• Locals within 75 miles are accepted at $7 less than the posted bill rate
• Travel partners are not allowed
• No RTO from 12/15/2026 to 1/5/2027

Unit / Float Scope

• May float between Edgewood and Florence campuses as needed
• Float scope includes Observation Units, MS, and MS Tele units
• Role supports ED boarders across the system
• If there are not enough boarders, the assignment floats to observation units at Edgewood and Florence

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Telemetry (1.5 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with pre-cardiac catheterization patient care
• Experience managing ports
• Experience with Epic

Compliance / Health Requirements

• COVID vaccination or medical/religious exemption
• Flu vaccination or exemption
• Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 12 months
• Fit test within 12 months of start
• Two clinical references within 2 years
• Photo for badge
• Background check and required verification/documentation

• Scrubs: Navy blue
• No cafeteria available; refrigerator and microwave provided on-site
• Free parking in any unrestricted space
• Agency or brand logos are not allowed on scrubs/apparel
