Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Seattle, Washington
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• Hours per week: 36
• Ratios: 1:2
• Unit has 23 staffed beds

Role Details

• RN / ICU caring for Cardiac ICU patients and overflow from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU, with focus on cardiology
• Floating to other ICUs and boarder areas should be expected
• Every other weekend required
• First-timers accepted: No hard stop
• Locals accepted
• Pending license not accepted, but compact accepted
• On-call not required
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• References must be from a direct supervisor, not a charge RN

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC
• Experience in high volume, high acuity, teaching, and trauma facilities

Additional Notes

• Scrub color: Blue; facility provided as needed or own solid color
• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period
