Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 11:00–21:30
• 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• First timers accepted
• Locals accepted
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• No block scheduling
• Call required
• Holidays required
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• 6 call shifts in a 6-week period, may vary

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• TNCC
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrub experience

Unit Details

• Core 3 & 4
• Areas include GEN, Plastic, GYN, ENT, trauma, Neuro, ortho, GU, Colorectal, and Robotics
• 21 rooms
• Average daily census: 70–80

Additional Notes

• OR RNs need to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV and Transplant, as they will be floated where needed
• Charge pay is offered
• Cerner charting
• Scrub color provided
