Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with a variable day off
  • Contract length: 16 weeks
  • First-timers accepted
  • Locals accepted
  • Floating within the hospital is required
  • No floating to sister hospitals
  • No on-call requirement
  • No block scheduling unless otherwise stated
  • RTO limit: 1 week maximum

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Washington
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
  • 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • CCI RCIS
  • Experience with Epic

Role Details

  • EP RN for patients undergoing coronary device implants, diagnostic EP, and ablation procedures
  • Procedures include pacemakers, ICDs including SQ, loop recorders, Micra pacemakers, lead extractions with surgery support, and ablations including VT, PVC, AFib, Aflutter, other atrial ablations, and transeptal approach
  • Uses Biosenses Webster CARTO Mapping and Ablation, Abbott Precision Mapping and Ablation, Cryo for some AFib ablations, Biotronik temp pacemaker box, Siemens X300 ICE machine, Laser, Impella, IABP, PA lines (swans), Alaris IV pump, and Hemochron ACT machine
  • Monitoring system: GE CardioLab
