Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 13-week contract
- Floating: all inpatient / acute care areas
- On-call not required
- Weekend shifts: yes
Role Focus
- Peds RRT role
- Must have PICU or NICU experience
- This is not an ICU-only role
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU with 2 years of experience
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- RRT
- NBRC-RRT
- Experience working with Infant or Neonate or Pediatric patients
- Airways Management
- Ventilator Management
- Pulmonary Toileting
- PICU or NICU experience
- Intensive Care experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Trauma
- Level 1 trauma
- ER
- Teaching/community hospital experience
- Children’s hospital experience
- High frequency jet ventilator
- High frequency oscillator
- EKGs
- Code Repose
- Rapid Response
- EPIC familiarity
Scheduling Notes
- Only 3 shifts of RTO can be approved
- No RTO within the first 2 weeks of start
- Traveler must work 2 of the 3 holiday groupings
- RTO must be included on the initial submission or it will not be approved
Additional Notes
- Candidates without an active WA license will need to be set 6–8 weeks out
- Orientation dates are Mondays
- Accepting all start dates
