PCU/Tele RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Dededo, Guam
• 13-week assignment
• 36 hours per week
• Night or day shifts; travelers are scheduled primarily one shift and cannot request a shift preference
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required
• First-timers not accepted
• Travelers may float to Med-Surg and ED Tele overflow; if floated to ICU, they will not care for patients outside their scope of practice
• Ratios: 1:4-5
• This is technically a tele unit, but the level of care is PCU; the unit also notes ICU and PCU when needed

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of specialty experience
• Compact or Guam RN licensure in hand at time of submittal
• ACLS
• BCLS
• Passport in hand
• Must be willing to switch/pick up/find coverage within the four-day scheduling window before the schedule is finalized

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of specialty experience

Additional Notes

• Travel partners are accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Locals are not accepted
• Pending license is not accepted
• On-call is not required
• RTO must be approved before start and cannot be added after the contract begins
• Flights are not reimbursed
• Travelers should be prepared to pick up additional shifts due to census
