Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio
- 16-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- Mixed acuity: PCU and MS patients
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
- RN license verification
- NURSYS verification
- Emergency Contact Form
- Background check within 90 days of start, including SS Trace, counties lived/worked, Nationwide, Sex Offender, and MVR if driving is part of the job
- Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 1 year of start
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
- Employment application
- Skills checklist
- 2 professional references, with at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leadership role
Preferred
- Oncology experience
- Previous travel experience
Additional Notes
- If accepted as a 12D/N rotating contract, schedule may include days, nights, or both depending on department needs
- Parking is available through campus permit options at additional cost
