Schedule and work setting

• Works until procedures are complete, so end time may vary.
• Typical workload is 4 to 5 labs per day, with about 20 cases per day.
• Does not float between service lines or to sister facilities.
• Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs.

Required qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
• Proficiency in coronary diagnostic and intervention scrub and monitor procedures
• Must have a South Carolina license
• ARRT or RCIS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Compliance and onboarding

• Radiation badge required; agency must provide it
• Copy of driver’s license required
• Copy of Social Security card required
• Proof of work eligibility and completed I-9 attestation required
• Annual background check required
• Education verification required
• Physical exam required within 90 days of start and updated annually
• Tdap required within 10 years of start, or declination
• TB testing required within 90 days of start
• Drug screen required within 90 days of start
• Proof of 2 clinical references required
• Work history verification required for the last 3 clinical employers
• South Carolina state exclusion list required
• Orientation modules and other pre-start forms must be completed before start

• Parking is available at no fee.
• Hospital-issued scrubs are used for this role.
• Hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams.
