Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician
Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; either 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts, with some Saturdays as needed.
Job Description
- Provide technical support in interventional radiology procedures.
- Work schedule includes flexibility between 4-day or 5-day workweeks.
- Occasional Saturday shifts may be required.
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certification
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts.
- ARRT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience must be within the last year.
Additional Notes
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start.
- Some credentialing and background checks require secure/encrypted communication for vetting.
- Name change documentation may be required if credentials do not match legal name.
- Assignment confirmation form required upon acceptance and for extensions.
This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with the appropriate licensure and certifications in interventional radiology technology, who can comply with comprehensive health and background screening requirements and are available for a 13-week long-term assignment with flexible weekday shifts and occasional Saturdays.
