Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Work Schedule

• 3 shifts of 12 days each
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Rotating weekends and backup call included

Required Certifications & Credentials

• BLS Certification: AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted (AHA preferred)
• Professional License: Primary source verification required within 30 days of start; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
• N95 Fit Test: Must be completed within 365 days prior to start and updated annually; no religious exemptions
• MMR Vaccination: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30); no exemptions allowed
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start; updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start; updated if >6 month break
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit test is needed for the skill

Strongly Preferred / Optional Credentials

• Hepatitis B: Record of 3 vaccines, proof of immunity, or declination
• Tdap Vaccine: Within 10 years and updated upon expiration
• Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray: Required if positive TB test

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start; includes international and county residency/employment/school history for past 7 years
• Massachusetts CORI Check: Within 30 days prior to start; updated if >6 month break
• MGB Education Verification: Verification of highest education level achieved
• MGB SSN Trace: Must list addresses/aliases for past 7 years
• National Sex Offender Registry Check: Within 30 days prior to start; updated annually
• Exclusion Checks: Search OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid exclusion lists; updated annually

Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above) in the relevant skillset
• Skills checklist
• Candidate submission coversheet

Additional Notes

• TB Screening Form must be completed prior to start and updated annually if applicable
• All documentation must be current and compliant with facility and state regulations
• No religious or medical exemptions for vaccines or fit testing

This position requires strict adherence to credentialing, vaccination, and background check protocols to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient safety standards.
