Dialysis RN Job Opportunity
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Job Summary
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans; assess and communicate patient condition.
- Coordinate care among all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
- Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 2 years of dialysis experience, with dialysis experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Health and Safety Requirements
- Documentation of immunizations and health screenings including:
- Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted).
- Two Varicella vaccines, serological immunity, or verified history (no declinations accepted).
- Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted).
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination.
- Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement).
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite).
- Two-step PPD or IGRA testing for TB with required follow-up documentation.
- Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter.
Background and Verification
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and other required searches within 30 days of assignment start.
- Employment verification for the past seven years.
- Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start.
- At least two professional references prior to first assignment.
Additional Information
- Some optional onboarding documents may be required by unit leadership after start.
- Badge photo required (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations).
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
