Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Experience: At least 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Certification: IEMA certification required

Required Certifications & Credentials

• BLS (AHA) certification mandatory
• Current professional license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics) completed within a year and updated yearly (minimum 80% score)
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding and Education Attestation
• Ascension Badge Photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background)
• Valid Driver’s License/State ID (must not be expired and address must match requirements)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
• Fit Test: Required for all travelers, preferred prior to start, updated annually
• Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
• TB Screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within a year, and annual TB questionnaire
• Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
• Tdap: Valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted
• Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually

Background & Verification Requirements

• Ascension Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other checks completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Ascension EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 90 days prior to start
• Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start
• Employment verification for the past seven years, updated annually
• Ascension Profile (resume or professional profile) and at least two professional references required

Skills & Competency

• Ascension Skills Checklist for clinical specialty, completed within one year of start and updated annually

Additional Notes

• Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form completed onsite by facility
• Some onboarding documents must be uploaded by the agency prior to start
• Post-assignment evaluation may be required

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with required certifications and immunizations who are comfortable working a Monday-Thursday 4/10 schedule in a travel assignment setting.
