Job Description

Perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosing disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.

Required Qualifications

• License: Current CT Technologist license valid in Oklahoma.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Experience:

  • Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume standard for CT Technologist roles.

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.
• Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years (includes HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics).
• Health and immunization requirements:

  • MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted).
  • Varicella: Proof of immunity or two vaccines (no declinations accepted).
  • Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination.
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
  • Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted).
  • TB screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes; chest X-ray if positive.
• Fit Test required for all travelers, preferably before start.
• Drug Screen: 12-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
• Background Checks and Verifications:

  • Criminal background check including SSN trace, OIG search, national sex offender registry, and EPLS.
  • Employment verification for past 7 years.
  • Education verification relevant to clinical work.
• Professional references: At least two required prior to first assignment.
• Driver’s license/state ID: Must be current and match address requirements.
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation (6 hours pre-hire training).
• Ascension Badge Photo: Forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations.
