Job Opportunity: Radiology Tech

Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Louisiana
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Health and Immunizations:

  • Amsler Grid Vision Test (required before start)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (optional; proof or exemption accepted)
  • MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with signed statement
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with required signatures
  • Influenza Vaccine (optional; medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)
  • TB Test: Negative QuantiFERON blood test within 1 year or 2-step skin test; if positive, must provide clearance or treatment proof
  • Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with signed statement
  • Tdap: Proof of vaccination within past 10 years or declination with required signatures
  • Annual TB Questionnaire within 6 months of start; if positive, documentation and treatment proof required
  • Fit Test: N95 mask fit test (3M 1860, 1860s, or 1870+) within 1 year, updated annually
  • Eye Exam & Color Vision: Ishihara Color Test and Snellen Vision test within 1 year prior to start

• Competency and Skills:

  • FMOLHS Skills Checklist specific to scope of practice within 1 year prior to start; updated annually
  • FMOLHS Competency Exam with passing score of 80% or higher within 1 year
  • FMOLHS Core Competencies (HIPAA, Safety, Infection Control, etc.) with passing score of 80% or higher within 1 year; updated annually

• Background and Screening:

  • Criminal Background Check within 30 days prior to start, including:

    • SSN Address Trace report covering all counties lived/worked in last 7 years
    • County criminal searches (state checks not accepted)
    • National criminal check including NSO, OFAC, OIG, and SAM
    • Education verification (3rd party)
    • Employment verification for last 5 years
    • Driving record (if applicable)
  • Drug Screen: Negative 10-panel test within 30 days prior to start (includes marijuana/THC, PCP, amphetamines, opiates, cocaine, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, propoxyphene, methaqualone)

• Other Documentation:

  • Health Statement signed within 1 year confirming ability to work without restrictions
  • Resume/Profile submission required
  • HRIS Form submission required
  • Badge Photo: Forward-facing, well-lit, neutral background, JPEG format

Summary

This Radiology Tech position is a 12-week long-term assignment in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a day shift from 7 AM to 3 PM. Candidates must hold appropriate licensure and BLS certification, meet comprehensive health and immunization requirements, pass competency exams, and clear background and drug screenings.
