Job Opportunity: Radiology Technician

Location: Moses Lake, Washington

Job Description

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiology Technician in a Level III Trauma Center (required).
• Preference for candidates with CT Tech experience.
• Experience in inpatient, outpatient, emergency department settings preferred.
• Familiarity with Philips, GE, and Streams Portable imaging equipment.
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification required.
• Work environment includes a 50-bed, Level 3 Trauma rural facility with specialty service areas such as orthopedics, sports medicine, podiatry, OB/GYN, gastroenterology, urology, pediatrics (including pediatric psychiatry and endocrinology), adult and internal medicine, pain management, behavioral health, and family medicine.
• Dress code: Any solid color scrubs.
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification
• ARRT (National Certification for Radiology and Imaging Technicians)
• BLS (AHA)
• Valid Driver's License or State ID

Health and Compliance Requirements

• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or declination
• Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 vaccines or declination
• Influenza Vaccine (seasonal, Oct 1 – Mar 31; declinations accepted)
• TB Test: One Step Skin Test, TSpot, or QuantiFERON within 6 months prior to start; chest X-ray within 5 years if prior positive test
• Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccines or declination
• Tdap: Proof of vaccine within last 10 years
• Annual TB Questionnaire within last 12 months
• Drug Screen: Rapid 10 panel within 12 months prior to start
• Criminal Background Check: 7-year county search, SSN trace, national database within 12 months prior to start
• Other facility-specific compliance checks and verifications (education, employment eligibility, sex offender registry, OIG, etc.)
