Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Neo/Peds)
Location: Maywood, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
- Hours: 36 hours per week, every other weekend
- Responsibilities include floating to adult units based on census
- Patient population: Neonatal and Pediatric respiratory care
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
Required Experience
- Specialty: Respiratory Therapist

- COVID-19 Vaccine (booster required by Sept 2025; declination not accepted in Illinois)
- Influenza Vaccine (required for 10/1/2024 - 4/30/2025 season; declination not accepted in Illinois)
- MMR (proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof of at least first vaccination prior to start)
- Varicella (proof of vaccination or IgG titer)
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
Additional Professional Requirements
- Completion of various Trinity Health forms including Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Integrity and Audit Services Form, and System Access Form
- Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years)
- Education Verification (highest academic degree or equivalent)
- EPLS and OIG Exclusion checks
- Joint Commission CORE Exam within the last year
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check within 30 days of start
- Skills Checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
