Job Opportunity: IV Therapy RN (36 hrs, Days)

Work Schedule

• Day shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
• Rotating day shifts required

Specialty & Experience

• Specialty: IV Therapy Registered Nurse (RN IV)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IV/Venous Access team
• Required skills: Peripheral IV insertion, Ultrasound Guided IVs, PICC line insertion, CVAD dressing change, non-tunneled CVAD removal, thrombolytic handling, implanted port access/de-access, PICC repositioning

Patient Population

• All ages: Neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of Vascular Access experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Infusion experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Certifications and Health Requirements (Must be current and valid)

• BLS (AHA)
• N95 Fit Test within 1 year (no exemptions allowed)
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
• MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
• TB test within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if break >6 months
• Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 1 year, updated if break >6 months
• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually

Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two professional references within 4 years (minimum one supervisor or above in relevant skillset)
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year
• Candidate submission coversheet (current version)
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for extensions

Additional Notes

• Floating is not required
• No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing
• Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start
• Education verification will be conducted through background check company (BSN preferred but not mandatory)
