Job Opportunity: CVOR Scrub Technician

Location: Buffalo, New York

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Backfill position for a CVOR Scrub Technician
• Average case load: 2-4 cases per day
• CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) experience required
• On-call coverage required for holidays

Required Certifications & Credentials

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• National or Board Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)
• Proof of vaccinations or titers for:

  • MMR
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza (seasonal, October 1 – March 31)
  • Varicella
• TB Test (One Step Tb Skin Test / Tspot / TB QuantiFERON) within past 12 months
• Annual TB Questionnaire within past 12 months
• Physical and Vision Exam within past 12 months (including systems check)
• 12 panel drug screen (no THC) within past 12 months

Background & Compliance Checks

• 7-year criminal county search, SSN trace, and national criminal database check within 12 months
• National and state sex offender registry checks within 30 days prior to start
• Webchecks within 30 days prior to start
• Employment verification and professional references required
• Badge photo and fit test required
• Employee bio form and certificate of authenticity required

Additional Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License or State ID
• Must be able to work in a CVOR environment with CABG cases
• On-call availability for holidays

Experience

• Specialty: Scrub Technician in CVOR
• CABG experience required (years of experience not explicitly stated; ensure relevant CVOR scrub tech experience with CABG cases)
