Overview

Role: RN Step Down
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
Schedule: Every other weekend; every other holiday

Unit / Assignment Details

Traveler will be placed on the unit with the greatest need, either PCU or Med/Surg/Tele based on the traveler’s skills.
May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
2 years of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Med Surg experience
Telemetry experience
Experience with Epic
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills completion
Travel experience
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually for specialty
