Job Opportunity: Cath/EP/IR Tech

Job Description

  • Interventional scrub role in a multimodality interventional suite including Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology (EP), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular, and Neuro IR procedures.
  • Preferred experience with documentation using Merge Hemo system.
  • On-call requirement: 7 days on call including 1 weekend in every 4-week period.

    • Core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics, completed within a year and updated yearly.
    • Skills checklist for clinical specialty, updated annually.
  • Personal Health Requirements:

    • MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted).
    • Varicella: Documented proof of two vaccines, serological immunity, or verified history (no declinations accepted).
    • Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination.
    • Influenza vaccine during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
    • Tdap: Valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted.
    • Fit test for respiratory protection, preferably completed prior to start.
    • TB screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA testing with annual TB questionnaire; positive results require chest X-ray within 1 year.
    • Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
    • 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
  • Identification:

    • Valid Driver’s License or State ID matching address requirements.

Additional Notes

  • Onboarding includes completion of Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation (6 hours pre-hire training).
  • Some forms and attestations are completed onsite by the facility.
  • Post-assignment evaluations and optional badge photo may be requested.

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Technicians comfortable with a variety of interventional procedures and able to meet comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
