Location: Metairie, Louisiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:2, sometimes flexes to 1:3
Schedule:
- Weekends required: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- No call required
Float Requirements:
- Will float to all ICUs
- May float to Emergency Department (ED) or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to care for ICU patients
- Occasional float to Medical-Surgical/Progressive Care Units with 1:4 patient ratios
Nursing Duties: Includes lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts

- Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA pumps
- Servo I ventilators
- Fresenius CRRT Dialysis machines
- Edwards Lifesciences cardiac monitors
- Medtronic EVD Management Systems
- Arctic Sun TMS
- GE Monitors, Hill Rom Beds
- Pyxis Medication Station
- Veratron Bladder Scanner
COVID-19: May care for COVID-19 patients; must be able to manage isolation precautions and know your N95 mask size
Return to Office (RTO): Limited to 5 days total

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
ICU nursing experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
CPI certification (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
