Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – PreOp

Location: Bend, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Unit: PreOp (Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery)
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (5:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
Hours per week: 40
Floating: May be required to float within scope to PACU or sitter roles as needed
Weekend work: As needed per unit requirements
On-call: Not required
Local candidates: Not accepted (must live outside a 75-mile radius)
Pending license candidates: Accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Minimum 2 years of experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care, including experience within the last year
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Pre-Op experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS certification
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Information

First-time travel nurses accepted
Return-to-Office restrictions: Maximum 7 total days off during the 13-week assignment
