Job Opportunity: IMC Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Newnan, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Unit & Work Details

Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)
Floating within facility to other acute care units as needed, within scope of practice
Weekend schedule: Every other weekend
No on-call required
Expected to work major holidays if they fall during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
Non-billable orientation hours proportional to contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8 weeks)
Maximum Return to Office (RTO) turnaround: 7 days
Full compliance with onboarding requirements mandatory to start on time; delays result in 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Prior travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers

Required Qualifications & Certifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Minimum 1 year of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
