LTC Skilled Nursing RN

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN position in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
• Based in a long-term care skilled nursing setting.

Schedule

• Evening shift: 5x8 hours, 14:00–23:00.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holidays as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Long Term Care (1 year of experience)
• Long Term Care experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Foley catheter care
• Insulin administration
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Assessment of neurological status
• Dressing changes
• Skin and wound assessment
• Wound vac management
• JP drain management
• Colostomy care
• End of life and palliative care

Float Scope

• Float required.
• May float across two floors and two wings per floor.

Patient Population

• Patients with multiple comorbidities.
• Patients with acute medical care needs.

Additional Notes

• Any solid color scrubs.
