Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Marina del Rey, California
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:15 AM to 8:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend work required: 1 24-hour weekend call per month
• On-call required: approximately 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend day per month
• Floating required
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated
• Flu vaccination required; no declinations or exemptions

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Required Credentials / Compliance

• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
• State License 1 Verification
• Fire card within the first 30 days of working at the facility
• Harassment Prevention Training Certificate
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Drug testing within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start
• California meal and rest period waiver
• 2 professional references, both supervisory
