Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Roanoke, Virginia
• Day shift: 3x12s, 6:45a–7:15p
• 4x12 available by request
• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers accepted
• Locals accepted

Unit

• 7M Medical Specialty Unit
• 12-bed inpatient unit
• Adult patients with complex medical conditions, co-occurring behavioral health needs, and substance use disorders
• 1:6 ratio

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
• Experience with rapid response/code teams
• Non-invasive airway management
• Experience with Epic
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Willing to float within skillset
• May be required to work as charge and to precept
• 2 clinical references required
• Complete application/resume required
