Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal

Location: Madison, Wisconsin Employment Type: Travel/Contract Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift, 5 x 8-hour days (Monday to Friday), 40 hours per week
• Rotating times: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays
• Not on call
• Open to accommodating a block schedule

Role Details

• Daily caseload: 7 to 8
• Facility: Teaching hospital with 374 staffed beds
• Scrub color: Black
• Does not float outside scope to meet facility needs
• Local candidates (within 70 miles) are not accepted

Required Qualifications

• Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience of at least 1 year, within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARDMS OB/GYN
• Experience working with High Risk OB patients

Onboarding and Compliance

• Background check: Criminal background check within 12 months of start, including SSN trace, 7-year county search, nationwide search, and sex offender search. Wisconsin caregiver screening is required before start.
• Health clearance: Negative TB test (PPD, QuantiFERON, or T-SPOT) within 12 months of start, and TB questionnaire at start and annually. Negative drug screen within 12 months of start. Physical exam within 1 year of start. Flu vaccine or exemption required during flu season. Rubeola, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation required.
• Respirator fit testing: Must be clean-shaven to achieve a mask seal. Fit testing occurs onsite during the first week of orientation. OSHA respirator clearance is required before start. Personal PAPRs or CAPRs are not allowed, and facility-provided PAPRs or CAPRs are not available. Failure to shave for fit testing results in cancellation.
• Other: Confidentiality and security agreement, facility modules, orientation checklist after start, and a clear passport-style badge photo (JPEG, plain white or off-white background, shoulders up).
