Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Position

• Shift Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7 PM - 7 AM
• Call Required: No
• Floating: Yes, between X-ray and CT
• Locals Allowed: Yes (within 50 miles radius)

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 1 year in specialty
• Certifications Required:

  • AART (American Association of Radiologic Technologists)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Other certifications may be required depending on role specifics (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal check covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
  • Education verification
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Transcript or diploma may be required if education verification is not complete
• State License verification (Primary Source Verification)
• NURSYS verification for applicable licenses

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Initial physical exam, updated annually
• Proof of vaccinations or titers for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine, titer, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, updated annually
• 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination documentation required during flu season (9/1 - 4/30) with medical or religious exemptions subject to approval

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 professional/clinical references
• Performance evaluations if applicable (e.g., if worked 1+ year or 2+ assignments)
• Completion of application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)
• Medication/pharmacology competency exams as applicable

Notes

• Floating between X-ray and CT requires flexibility in skill set
• No prior travel experience explicitly required; first-time travelers accepted
• Radius restriction: must live within 50 miles or willing to relocate within that radius

This position is suitable for Radiology/Cardiology professionals with at least 1 year of experience, appropriate certifications, and the ability to work night shifts on weekends with floating responsibilities.
