Job Opportunity: Sleep Technician (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics)
Location: Sunnyside, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Requirements
- Certification: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required
- Experience: 1-2 years relevant experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Required
Required Credentials & Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA or RQI accepted
- Additional Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) commonly required for RNs at this facility
- PALS, NRP, TNCC, STABLE certifications may be required or preferred depending on unit (mostly for nursing roles)
- State License: Current Washington State license verification required within 30 days of start
- Background Checks:
- 10-year criminal background check including SSN trace, alias/name changes, statewide and national checks
- EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- Washington State Patrol (WSP/WATCH) search required within 30 days of start
- Education Verification: Required for all candidates
- References: Must provide 3 recent employment references
Health & Immunization Requirements
Physical Exam: Physician-signed physical health statement within 1 year of start
Fit Mask Testing: Onsite N95 fit testing required (not required for MLT/MLS)
Immunizations:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or signed declination
- Negative TB test (QGold or T-SPOT within 30 days of start) or chest X-ray if positive
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Titer or 2 vaccines required (boosters or declination accepted for low titer)
- Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine, or declination
- Varicella: Titer, 2 vaccines, or history of chickenpox
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine: Required by November 1 (declinations accepted with mask requirement)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (medical or religious exemptions reviewed case-by-case)
Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
Facility Specific Requirements
- Photo for Badge: Headshot on plain white background required
- Code of Conduct: Must review and sign acknowledgment prior to start
- Onboarding: Completion of new employee information and onboarding documents required prior to start
- Fit Testing: Conducted onsite after orientation
- Confidentiality Agreements: Required

- Facility does not require annual TB or drug screen updates during the contract if current at start.
