Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Job Description

• Experienced Ultrasound Tech in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)
• Work in a high-volume clinic with 3 MFM providers
• Assist with Amniocentesis procedures, Biophysical Profiles, and routine ultrasounds
• Schedule: Monday - Friday

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Ultrasound Tech - Maternal Fetal)
• Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience consistent with Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Tech roles (typically 2+ years)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Physical Exam within 1 year of start, confirming fitness to work without restrictions
• Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana), must be initiated within 24-48 hours of offer acceptance
• Immunizations and Titers:

  • TB screening (Qgold/TSPOT within 90 days or 2 PPDs with proper documentation)
  • Hepatitis B Surface Antibody Titer (vaccine series or declination form if negative)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – 2 vaccines or positive IgG titers
  • Varicella – 2 vaccines or positive IgG titer
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap – valid within 10 years (Td not accepted)
  • Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption for 2025-2026 season
• Illinois-specific requirements:

  • IL Mandatory Reporting Training for all clinical patient-facing positions (valid for 3 years)
  • Fingerprinting and addition to Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Registry (required for non-RN patient-facing roles)
• Competency Exams and Skills Checklists as applicable
• References: 2 professional references within 3 years (Aya Direct only)
• Employment Application: 7 years employment history with explanations for gaps >30 days

Work Environment & Schedule

• Monday through Friday schedule
• High-volume Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic setting
