Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Job Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Start Date: Approximately 3-4 weeks from offer
• Travel Radius: Must be willing to travel within a 75-mile radius; local candidates not accepted
• Call: Minimal call required, possibly up to 1 day per week

Requirements

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • ARRT certification required
  • West Virginia state license required (online verification accepted, no wallet card needed)
  • BLS (AHA or ARC) required
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC as applicable (refer to job/unit description)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
  • Travel experience preferred

• Uniform: Royal blue scrubs

Compliance & Documentation

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated with contract renewals
  • Fingerprinting through WV CARES required (may start pending results, provisional employment up to 60 days)
  • State-specific WV Nurse Aid Registry check if applicable

• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start (updated annually)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B (titer or declination accepted)
  • 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (specific deadlines apply)
  • Respiratory safety clearance required and updated annually

• Other Documentation:

  • Proof of 2 clinical references
  • Completed employment application/resume
  • Annual skills checklist and competency exams as required
  • Facility-specific documents including patient rights acknowledgment, confidentiality agreement, and safety manual acknowledgment
  • CareLearning modules must be completed prior to start (approximately 3-4 hours of online training)

• Candidates must carry government-issued photo ID during working hours
• Fingerprinting and background checks are critical and must be completed promptly to avoid delays
• Failure to complete required training or documentation prior to start may result in delayed start or removal from assignment
